Gambling?

The worst thing a parent could ever do to their child is force them to accompany them to a card game. Yes I said it. They absolutely the most torturous "fun " events in ones day to day life.

FIRST SATURDAY!

TODAY WAS THE FIRST SATURDAY OF JULY AND WHAT DID I ATTEMPT TO DO TODAY??
FIRST I THOUGHT I WOULD GET THROUGH CLEANING AND UNPACKING THE REST OF MY ROOM! ANYONE EVER TRIED THAT?

THEN I FIGURED I SHOULD SEARCH THE WEB FOR ANY CHALLENGES GOING ON AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I WANT TO DO.

SOOOOO I ENDED UP GOING WALK ON THE LEVEE TO THE FERRY WITH MY SIS AND OUR OLDEST DOG.  THE DOG WAS TIRED AS SOON AS WE MADE IT UP THE LEVEE!!! BUT WE STILL DID THE ENTIRE TRAIL FROM THE HOUSE.

WE ENDED UP WALKING 2.4 MILES IN THE HOT SUN IN A NEW PLACE. WAS THE MOST ADVENTUROUS OUTING I HAVE HAD SINCE I BEEN BACK!

WELL OFF TO SLEEP FOR 1ST SUNDAY!!

The 4th of July

HI Y'ALL HOW WAS EVERYONE'S HOLIDAY? Well let me tell ya. I ran into so many people with differences in views on the celebration of the Forth of July. Growing up everyone I have met has done something major for the forth. Like everyone gets this one special red, white, or blue based outfit to either barbecue, go to a barbecue, go to the lake and some go on the weekend trips to the beach.
I am a part of the one family that procrastinate all day and around 5pm we rush to Mississippi to go to a beach that has no good spaces left. Then everyone starts rushing to cook something edible to say everyone has eaten. All the little children go to the water with the tweens. The teenagers post up on IG until the kids come back and then the old people are at the grill fighting sand and drinking. But this year we did something different, this year was strange.....
We went to a splash without a variety of food. Then had dinner by my uncle and to the levee to watch the fireworks.
I usually go on canal side to watch the show but we all know the crowd from essence would just ruin that.

Then there IS a group of people who do not celebrate this holiday. They respect the remembrance of the day, but they tend to call others views on it out.
WHO PAYS ATTENTION IN HISTORY CLASS? raise your hand. You people know they teach us that the 4th is not the day the US became free from the motherland. It is the day the colonies declared their freedom from the motherland. They knew good and well they couldn't take someone's land and just run with it. But the day came... and they got this for us.  Hmmm the good ole USA!
But that does not mean one can talk down upon someone else's views and opinions on how they choose to celebrate it. Now don't get me wrong, I always fix people when they think they can come up to me or text me with those Happy 4th of July's.....I absolutely HATE THAT!!! Its not a happy day. People lost their lives for this.
